We have been working on the 5 Senses Preschool Theme this week in my Play Based Preschool program (sign up for my website and you will get it for FREE). I created this super easy and impromptu play dough idea to encourage learning about the senses while using fine motor skills. The original idea came from this post, but instead of using the game portion, I decided to just use play dough. All you need is play dough and the Mr. Potato Head toy. You can also use the print out from this post to create a game out of it as well. While we were playing I would ask them questions about which senses they were giving their play dough person to reinforce the theme. My 5, 4, and 2 year old LOVED this activity and we highly recommend it!
